Cherilyn Sarkisian (aka Cher) was one half of the pop rock duo Sonny & Cher who make  “I got you babe” a #1 hit for the first time. After 20 years the same song have reached once again the #1 position at the UK charts, this time covered by the British reggae band, UB40 with Chrissie Hynde doing the female vocals.
In 1994 Cher re-recorded “I got you babe” this time with two animated characters from an  American TV series, the socially inept rock/metal-loving teenage boys, Beavis and Butt-head.
